Witness Bonjisi Witness Bonjisi was born in Mutoko on 25 September 1975. Witness did his education in Tafara and his Secondary in Mabvuku.
He started doing art in Ruwa with his brother, Lameck Bonjisi in 1992 until 1995. Though influenced by Nicholas Mukomberanwa, he worked with his brother. Witness started doing his own things in 1995. Witness´s first exhibition was in Oakland, America in 2002 with Shamwari Gallery. He did another exhibition in Phoenix, Arizona, America the end of November till December. He bases the subject matter on his intuitive sense using the shape of the stone as his guide, thus creating contemporary sculpture through his vivid imagination.
