Robin Masaya Robin Masaya, born 16 March 1968, in Nyanga. He is from the Manica tribe and their totem is Shumba (the lion).
He is a third generation sculptor. Robin comes from a large family; he has three brothers and four sisters. His family is very religious. His brothers Eddie, Lucian and his cousin Moses Masaya all sculpt. Robin left school in 1986, and has had a good education. He spent a few years working until he decided to follow in his brotherīs footsteps. Robinīs aim is to improve his work and become well known. His outside interests involve his religion.
