Jimmy Machinjili Jimmy Machinjili, born in 1960 in the district of Mazoe in Zimbabwe.
Jimmy´s first interest was in painting. During this period "a certain vision came to my mind" and he decided to diversify into sculpture. He decided to do "something of my own" and his work includes birds, tortoises, figures and heads. According to Jimmy, his source of inspiration is the society and his surroundings. "My wishes are to expand further and sharpen my skills in stone sculpture. Given encouragement in terms of material resources and promotional support, I can widen my artistic boundaries."
