Godfrey Marufu
Godfrey Marufu, born in Murehwa in 1965 and attended both Primary and Secondary school at Murehura Mission. He started sculpting in 1998 as an assistant to his elder brother Wencelous Marufu. His brother has been in the trade for 16 years.
Godfrey normally works on stone, wood and grass rhizomes. He has sold sculptures in the following countries, Britain, Germany, U.S.A., Belgium and South Africa.
At present he is working at Dominic Benhuraīs Studio.
