Dawson Chivizhe Dawson Chivizhe was born on the 26th of June 1973 in the Chivhu rural area of Zimbabwe. Dawson went to school until he was 18years old. He excelled in drawing and painting pictures. In 1994 he decided to try his hand at stone carving under the guidance of Thomas Zinyeka. He started washing and polishing pieces that Thomas was carving and during his spare time he learnt how to carve small pieces taken from the chippings of Thomasīs carvings.
His work evolves from his love of nature and periodical happenings in his life. His ambition is to travel and exhibit his work around the world and to share his love of sculpture with different people. Artist's Sculpture (Click to view):
