Peter Mandala Peter Mandala was born in 1951 in the Marondera District and is of Malawian descent. Peter left school after completing
two years of high school and joined the Canon Paterson Art Centre. Peter spent two and a half years there sculpting head and abstracts. For many years he produced mainly craftwork, but recently he has specialised in Artistic Creations.
Working mainly on small or medium sized stones, Peterīs subjects are almost always of human expressions, e.g. "Man Feeling Cold", "Lovers", "Protecting Mother", with an occasional depiction of birds. He lives in Harare and is married with two children. His ambition is to be popular and famous. Peter has also exhibited in Group Exhibitions locally and internationally.
