Nicholas Kadzungura
Nicholas Kadzunguru is a second generation sculptor and assistant to the deceased world-renowned sculptor, Damian Manhuwa.
Under the gentle guidance of Damian, Nicholas producing sculptures of very high quality and in his own particular style.
Nicholas explains that his ideas come from his imagination and the world around him. Despite have being exposed to Western Art through Damianīs experiences and knowledge, he has maintained his own distinctive style and is often guided by the portrayal of traditional themes and imagery.
Often highly polished, but occasionally using a combination of rough and smooth, Nicholasī sculptures contain a graceful composition and flowing lines. He has participated in local exhibitions and more recently his sculptures have been included in international group exhibitions.
