David Chirambadare


David born in 1966. He is part of the Vamurgwe tribe, chiefed by Mangwende.

David is a second generation sculptor.

David has three brothers and two sisters, and one of his brothers carves.

David left school in 1983 after completing one year of senior school education. After leaving school, he worked in his rural district until 1985 when he started to carve. He was influenced by Albert Mamvurha, a first generation sculptor who lived in Chitungwisa.
