Biggie Kapeta
Biggie Kapeta a Zimbabwean sculptor born in 1956.
Biggie was an apprentice to his uncle Sylvester Mubayi, with whom he studied and later spent two years as an artist in residence at the Chapungu Sculpture Park. During this period he finished a number of fine sculptures, including ?Chief Consults with Chapungu? highly acclaimed for its fine chisel work and strong message.
He was also the teacher of Sydney Majengwa.
He passed away 1999.
