Bernard Manyandure
Bernard was born in 1952 at Nyatate in Nyanga North. He was one of the small numbers of sculptors who formed the Nyanga group under the leadership of Joram Mariga.
Frank McEwan met Bernard whilst visiting Joram Mariga and was instrumental in his encouragement, which led to worldwide acclaim.
Most of Bernardīs time is now taken up with his farm in Nyanga, but he still sculpts in his spare time.
