Stewart Chapengah Stewart Chapengah born on the 7th of June 1983 in Guruve in a family of seven. His tribe is the “Kore-Kore”, and their totem is soko makate, meaning monkey. Stewart did his primary level at Chifamba Primary School. He did his secondary level at Chifamba high School.
Stewart started carving stone when he was in grade five in 1997 in Guruve. His brother Custen Chapengah assisted him. Stewart started carving flowers. Stewart did his first exhibition at Sanganai Art Caromu Sculptures. In 2006 he started working at 66 Airport Road, Hatfield, Harare where he is still working.
