Rufaro Ngoma
Rufaro Ngoma, born on the 29 May 1981, in Nyanga (Zimbabwe). Rufaro did both his primary and secondary education at Avila Mission School.
Rufaro grew up loving sculptures in the gallery of Nyanga Craft Centre. Using first hand testimonial evidence immediate from his primary and high school education in 2002, herding cattle, playing banjo guitar and moulding animals with clay, loved various elements that formed a strong educational and social background for him.
From humble beginnings, Rufaro scaled dizzy heights to become a prominent artist in international contemporary art. Rufaro is genius driven by hard work and creativity. His work captures every major development and turning point in the quarter century long life of himself.
Rufaro is known as the golden boy of Zimbabwean stone sculptors, the interesting showcases Rufaro?s rise up is well represented by his pieces sold locally and abroad, in countries such as Germany, Canada, USA, United Kingdom, South Korea, Holland and South Africa.
