Ngoni Mashaya Ngonidzashe Mashaya was born in 1977 in Nyanga area. He did his education at Mazarura School – primary and secondary, in Nyanga before moving to Harare for his both primary and secondary at Mukai High and Rusvingo School.
He started sculpting in 1995 after completing his “o” level in 1994. Some of his pieces are exhibited in so many countries like Netherlands, Belgium, South Korea, America and other countries. He also attended at Harare Sheraton Nation Gallery of Zimbabwe and Jameson Hotel. Some of his pieces are displayed at Chapungu Gallery, Yhutzutiwa and other galleries. He also work on different types of stone like Opal, Springstone, Cobalt and other stones. He work different types of art like birds, animals, figures, lovers and others.
