Ishmael Chitiyo
 Ishmael was born in 1982 in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe, the youngest in a family of eight. His older brother Solomon taught Ishmael how to sculpt after which he worked with Ignatius Zuwakiyi, a well-known young artist, for a few years. Sylvester Mubayi and Richard Mupumha helped him when he was learning. When he had proved himself, he began to work alone.
Ishmael is one of the most promising young artists in Chitungwiza. His sculptures encapsulate the simplicity and grace of modern Zimbabwean sculpture.
